Sustainability
Every regulation is followed to the letter so customers can safely process raw materials produced by Greenmerce.
A lot of protein is needed for the production of animal feed. Animal feeds are produced from vegetable proteins, such as soy and corn. When processing meat for consumption, 50% residue remains from which proteins can be recovered. Greenmerce sees the importance of this recovery, because clean protein can be returned into the food chain. This is done within the legal regulations.
Reuse and upgrade of raw materials
Our vision is that we reclaim and distribute protein to areas where protein is needed. Protein is recovered from 50% animal residue. As a result, less deforestation is needed that would serve as agricultural land to grow crops for animal consumption.
Circular agriculture
Protein recovery is an important contribution to make the food chain more sustainable and reduce global nitrogen emissions. Greenmerce maintains close contact with the Ministries of Agriculture and scientists to ensure envionmentally responsible production.
Certification
Greenmerce, as a GMP+ FSA certified company, demonstrate that they meet all requirements and conditions for the assurance of feed safety. FSA stands for Feed Safety Assurance. GMP+ FSA contains standards for all links in the chain. We are audited by independent bodies, accepted by GMP+ International, the so-called Certification bodies. Read more about GMP+
